Default well...

Unless I'm missing something the only difference in the Grendel and PPC case is the Grendel's shoulder is moved forward 45thou?

Isn't the Beggs basically a 220 Russian necked to 20cal, so a little more relaxed shoulder?

Maybe the new 6.5 Grendel mag and a 20PPC? I get all the speed I need out of the ppc case.

I would go with Todd Kindler's .20 Titan. Its the 6.5 Grendel necked down to .20 cal. Todd can supply brass. It uses a PPC die, IIRC.

Default CZ Action

Chuck,

Thanks for your tip, I snagged one of these actions too. I am not certain what it will become yet but I am leaning towards a 20 Titan.

Case can be made by necking down a 6.5 Grendel. You can also create a false shoulder on a PPC case to hold the cartridge in place while blowing the the shoulder forward when fireforming. Reloading can be accomplished by using PPC dies set higher in the press with the appropriate bushings.

I have no need for a repeater so I will make a delrin block to replace the magazine. I already have a benchrest style stock with a flat forend that I bought from Kenny several years back.

Thanks again for the heads-up!

Default 20 Grendel, or whatever

Doesn't matter the name it's called...but here's the dies I'd get and be done.....

I'm in the same boat Chuck! I bought two of those actions and giving one to my Smith to put the barrel on mine. I have a .20 X-caliber also but decided to buy a .224 LBC AR reamer throated to put the 80 grain A-Max in the lands at 2.260". I can then use it for AR barrels in the future. I'm planning on a Krieger 8tw light Varmint contour and an HS Precision stock. I will put the Heavy Varmint X-caliber on my Son's 700 and use my 5X45AI reamer. At 28" it will send the 39 grain BK's at Warp Factor 14.

Default Them CZ actions

I'm glad some of my fellow Saubierites were able to take advantage of that short opportunity. I noticed a few went for well under 300.00, hope that was youse guys

Gonna stick with my 20PPC with the 237nk. I will probably wait until the 6.5 Grendel comes out so I can check the differences in the magazines and get some reports on how they feed.
