Privi Partizan brass quality
Just wondering about opinions about quality/durability of privi brass. Got some 22/250 from powder valley and am loading some up. Seems to have just slightly less capacity than Remington. TIA for replies

I have used it in the 22 Jet. Honestly, I like it better than the Remington brass. Seems consistent. No cracks, well annealed..etc... Its the only one I have tried.

Prvi is very good quality!
Not quite on par with Norma but it's up there. Very consistent weight and no duds in the bag. |

+1 on the quality of PRVI brass... I've used lots of it in 22 Hornet reformed to 17 HH as well as other calibres like .270 Win, .308 Win, 9.3 x62mm.
Typically good consistent primer pocket size, concentric flash holes and all calibres have neck annealing colours present. In 22 Hornet the case head web is slightly thinner than other brands but it handles the much higher pressure as a 17 HH very well. Much better quality than Sellier and Bellot or Hornady (at least in 17 HH). |

Privi brass
I just formed 50 22H to 20 AH. That went well. Have not fire formed yet though. The brass looked great.

Make sure you neck anneal them before fireforming and you should get a 100% success rate

Internal capacity on the .223's is definitely reduced than WCC 08's. Threw a known charge in one today and quickly removed it! It is tough though with tight primer pockets. I also use it in the SKS and Mini 30 due to cost and have no problems with it.

That is what I found, it is good brass, but on the hard side, so anneal it and then have at it. Bill K
