Default Anticipation

Ordered an MGM 24" 10tw .17 Ackley Bee Encore barrel a couple of weeks ago. Last week I ordered cases from Cabelas and a Form #1, Form/Trim and FL Size Die set from Graf's. Cases and dies arrived, come on MGM! My 3rd 17, a Fireball, an Ackley Hornet and soon the Ackley Bee. Is there a cure for this?

Nope your in trouble!! There is no cure or at least I haven't found one (not that I have looked very hard) I just finished barreling my 17 Bee, its a caliber that I have been wanting to build ever since I seen one 35 years ago. Your going to love it. Now have you looked at any of the bigger cartridge 17's, you would love them too. 17 Rem, 17 Tac, 17/223, 17/223AI, 17/222, 17PPC......OH Boy

I gotta disagree with Bob, I think there is a cure! Buy more rifles , just kidding Bob.
But truthfully I've said this before and I'll say it again, "I sure hope I never get to old or have enough guns that I don't get excited over a new one ".
Congrats on the new one and be sure to keep us posted on load development and how it works out for ya.

If your skin was itchy, would you scratch it? Of course you would. But let's say you didn't have itchy skin. Instead, you feel the itch to build fine firearms for fun and frolic with friends and loved ones. Is that not an itch that needs scratching? Of course it is. Building these treasures isn't the disease, it's the cure. And in this case, a pound of cure is better than all the prevention you can manage.

Dang Bryan, I think I could even sell my Wife of 32 years with that one! Thanks!
Let's not even think larger case capacity! And definitely don't mention the 20's!
