Default Not really small caliber but.....

We finally got some nice weather here in the NE this weekend and so out to the range I went! I have a Remington 700 T&T'ed with a 26" SS 14tw bull barrel(manufacturer unknown) chambered in .243 Ackley Improved. I've been meaning to work up loads ever since Berger replaced their 66 gr. High BC FB with a 69 gr. like unit that my gun won't shoot! The 66 must have been on the edge of stability! The Sierra 70 gr. Blitz King has shown the most promise so I started trying powders I have on hand. Started with H4350(little slow maybe?) and then Reloader 17 which I thought was going to be it but along comes Varget! I used it with the Bergers also but thought that since my load density wasn't 100% that a little slower was in order. Wish I could say that was the first time I was wrong......
