Well now they're out. My buddy tried to order some and was only able to get 1 bag.

$60.99 for 17 Rem? Ouch! Nosler may be the way to go now.

That said, Cabela's has the 22 Golden Bullet bulk packs priced $10 more than Walmart. What's going on with their pricing?

Well, against my better judgement, I bought a bag with Cabela's points. Received them today. The package states the the're are packaged by Black Hills. They have a R-P headstamp. I didn't look at all of them due to being so dirty, but there's at least one piece that is unusable due to a dent/crease in the shoulder. The mouth of the same case was pretty beat up and curled over too.

The good news, I believe I hand counted 101 pieces.

They're in the tumbler right now. I'll inspect them better once they're cleaned up.

This was 17 Rem brass.

"Vibratory case cleaner" better?

It went 8 hrs and still looks rough. Nosler from here on out for me. Trying to be positive, but a bit disappointed at the moment.

Oh, call it whatever you want..........I'm just disappointed that you had to do any sort of cleaning on new brass.

I have never had to.

Thanks for the report. Sorry about the brass being dingy.

I've had good luck with 17 remington "High Plains Brass" formed from LC 5.56 cases, I have several hundred from them.
