Default Reeds 32gr RBBT HP

I got great groups with H414 out of my CZ 527. 5 @ .458 found that in my CZ they like to be seated deep.

Only issue I had was that they were out of stock for several months and when they came in the ones I ordered were not anything like the last lot.......HP 's were much larger and the jackets were dark orange rather that the gold color of the others............plus they did not shoot nearly as well as the last lot, totally different bullet even though they were a 32gr RBBT HP

I order 100 of the 30gr RBBT HP to see if they are like the first lot of the 32's

Default SP or HP?

Hey, was that nice group was with the hp or sp, and have you managed to get the 32gr RBTSP to group?

Actually I did get satisfactory groups from the Reeds, but I'm going to continue to tweak them because I think they are capable of much more.

I've gotten between .75" and .85" 5-shot groups with CFE223 of all things. I think I'm going to push them a little bit more. I haven't even chronographed them. I have 50 new pieces of Norma brass and I think I'll use them and see what it tells me.

I'm excited to try them out. I'm down to a little over 100 pieces. I'm going to take some to the prairie dog town and see how they perform on them, hopefully get a good mushroom and penetrate all the way through.

The more I use CFE 223 the more I like it. I have went through about 5-6 lbs in various calibers. I think an eight pounder will be next.
