Thanks Hal. Kimber didn't make a 17 Rem. so I made one. I have a Factory Kimber Montana in 204 and 2 of them in 223. The 204 will keep up with the Lilja barreled 17 Rem. in the accuracy dept.

Kimber Montana rifles rock. I have 3 of them and I wish I had more. Not all of my Kimbers (4 of them) are small caliber, but all are great rifles.

Montanas are 223 Rem., 243 Win., 257 Robt. - 308 Win. is a stainless/walnut rifle.

The top one is a 22BR that's my main fox/coyote rifle. The one below it is a 6BR. Both autographed by Ted Nugent.

The white snake skin one is my new 22BR. Kelbly Atlas single shot action, Kelbly Varminter stock and a Krieger 1:12.

I have another Montana in 243.
Bought one of the 6.5 Creedmores with the walnut stock, blued receiver and stainless barrel. Have a Classic Select in 7-08 and a Classic in 30-06. Built a custom from an early Classic that was a 7-08, but rebarreled it to 243 and made an English walnut stock for it. Kinda wish I would gone with a 6mm Rem, but that Lilja 243 barrel is nice.

I've shown one of them here in the past due to the cartridge involved. You can look for it if you're really interested.
