I agree with your posting. I bought one. It gave me some of my life back.

Products that I am looking for but can't seem to find no matter how hard I look:
Leopold Scopes, Forester reloading equipment and Victorianox knives.

I video recorded all of my Highpower Rifle matches. Pretty soon I am going to watch them all in reverse order so that I can watch those F Class guys GO HOME and leave us alone so that we can shoot Highpower Rifle.

I started out with the Lee trimmer (hand crank) and quickly moved to the WFT for 223 and to trim 300BO cases. I have a couple of the Giraud Tri-way trimmers and they work great.

Recently I placed an order for a Giraud Benchtop Trimmer, but I cancelled the order in favor of buying a Henderson Precision Trimmer. It arrived on Monday and looks sexy on the floor...

I don't think you could go wrong with either unit. Giraud is local (Houston area) and I have used his gear for a number of years without complaint.

I decided to go with Henderson because of my conversation with the owner. They plan to expand/build out their power trimmer to become a mini neck turning lathe (future upgrade). If you are familiar with the 21st Century neck turning lathe then you have an idea of how it might work. The main difference would be that Henderson unit would be spinning the cutter (case stays stationary), whereas the 21st Century unit spins the case (cutter head is fixed position). This potential multipurpose optionality was enough to try the Henderson.

I’ve been using a giraud for roughly 2 years now and for 7 calibers! Super consistent, super fast! Well worth it

Can the henderson be set up to trim 17 caliber?

I hope for you that it doesn't end up as mere "vaporware".

I'm not so much worried if they don't move forward with the lathe option on the Henderson, but based on conversation with owner they are pretty excited about the tools evolution. I need to form a bunch of cases without wearing out my fingers holding on to short cartridges.

The price differential between the Giraud and Henderson is not nearly as wide if you are supporting multiple cartridges. I thought I would try the latest innovation...

Nothing ventured, nothing gained
