Default 17 and 20 tcm

did a search for both the 17 and 20 tcm with zero results. i am sure someone has necked the 22 tcn down to 17 or 20. i have a feeling if not it's due to the lack of a suitable action for the stubby case. the quality of the rifle the tcm is chambered in leaves a lot to be desired.
i would think you wo need a thompson center or maybe a single shot like a no 1 or browning low wall 1895. feeding would be a problem with most bolt action rifles with magazines not designed around the cartridge.

20 TCM. (20 MGM) Custom cut reamer. Savage left hand repeater action converted to single shot. Had issues with chambering but I think I've got that worked out for now. Feeds and chambers like a DREAM in a Remington XP 100 action.
No ejector on the Savage bolt head. Case stays on the bolt head till YOU pick it off.
Tried the 17. Bullets too small for me to mess with.

(A Thompson Center or maybe a single shot like a no 1 or Browning low wall 1895)

Default 20 tcm

I have one built on a Wasatch single shot with the use of Nor Cal Mikie's reamer. The rifle has with Sako extractor, no ejector and the case feeds great. I looked really hard at getting it working on a CZ, but The .221 magazine feed lips were arranged in such a way it wouldn't work. I shot about 100 rounds on squirrels in 2019 ( I think), but was shooting 24 NTX since I was still in CA. I was a great deal of fun to shoot, the NTX killed but not a lot of expansion at that velocity. Have some 32 v-max and 32 Nosler FBHP to try now and will do some testing soon. i was using LT30 with the NTX and think the powder was probably too slow for that bullet, will try that again and N-120 with the 32's.

I have an XP-100 in 17 TCM improved. Mine has a coned bolt and no ejector. Feeds just fine.

Had issues on my Savage. Kept tweaking till it finally fed so so.
Just happened to drop a dummy round in my .221 Fireball XP action. feeds like it was made for it.
Still looking for another XP to build on.

I've shot some tiny groups with mine. But overall I'd say its probably a 1/2moa gun.

Based on my experience with the 22 Spitfire in both a Howa Mini and a CZ527, I would think either one would chamber the TCM smoothly as a single shot and maybe as a repeater also. Remember the Spitwad in the Howa Mini?
