OT: Christmas Decorating
My wife wanted to start her decorating, so we put up the tree this evening. As the song says, "silver and gold on every Christmas tree." Made in Montana. No two are alike. 100% natural - well, maybe the color isn't quite natural.

Decorations
Gophers may bring more joy in the spring/summer, but isn't it nice to have them as a festive touch in the winter as well.

I love it!
Sort of "The joy of the rat patch at Christmas!"

Hmm, I see someone's wife is way more understanding than mine.... I have a tough enough time with Euro mounts now days as it is. I can see me having to trash the whole tree over a few bobbles like those. Shoot I tried to set a stuffed quail once in the tree -- only once. I like them but will never see anything like that here unless they are in the reloading room

gopher decorating
Oh, come on. Handmade. Organic. Unique. Plus, with the tree all decorated, they kind of blend in. The photo is one on my daughter's tree. You have to look. Took my Dad two days to find the one on his tree. He knew there was a "special ornament," but he didn't know what it was. My sister had to help find it.
