Default 17ccm

Don't have all this photo posting figured out yet....tried to delete and re-post,but cannot delete it, so I'll try to explain yesterday afternoon at the range with the 17ccm. 100yds off the bench, 3 shot groups.

First target on bottom left is 20gr Vmax with 9grs of 1680...very sub-quarter inch....great load, will probably become the go to load.

Center target, 17gr VmaxBT (rejects) with 9grs 1680, not bad but not what I want.

Bottom right, 15gr Berger MEF with 8.2 1680, again not too bad, but it sure likes the 20gr Vmax lots better.

Just for fun, we sat a 12 oz water bottles up at 100 yds, and the 20 Vmax just exploded it. Should work good on crows....the 22gr Hammett shoots as well as the 20gr Vmax, but just drills the crow, and he falls, and that's it....no drama, the Vmax should deliver the necessary drama...

Thanks,
Steve

?? No photos.

Good thing those V-Max's work well, 'cause when the others are gone, they're gone. Maybe some 17 grainers still available here and there. '

Have you tried CFE BLK in that one?
