Yes, even with 3" of throat erosion. In fact, for my worn out 22-250 barrels the 34g HP worked best for accuracy.

One thing I found to be true of the 36 grain VG, the faster you can drive them the smaller the groups get. I was pushing some out of a 223 at 3900 fps and they shot great. Well under 1/2" at 200 yards. At 3700 they looked like a shotgun pattern, literally 6" groups. While I could get them to shoot well in most everything from 22 H to 22-250 I quit buying them because they were very inconsistent in terms of their frangibility. Most behaved like they should but after 3 or 4 batches that behaved more like FMJs than fungibles I went back to the Vmax and Blitkings. Far more reliable and consistent performance and much better B.C.s, which helps a lot in the wind.
