Knockoff
Shows to be sold. That guy is selling those mags representing them to be OEM. They're knockoffs, they're not made by Sako and guys are selling that same mag for both the Hornet and 218 Bee as original Sako OEM mags. If he's selling them for 30.00-40.00(what I pay for them fine. Last ones I saw he was asking 90.00+.

Thanks for your insight, Chuck. I know finding mags for older guns is a problem and just saw this; just trying to help.

Guess I just screwed up. The GoA add clearly states Sako factory in the wrapper. We'll see if it works in my rifle. Thanks Chuck for letting me know though.

UPDATE...
Just received the new "factory" 22 hornet mag. It does NOT have 'Sako' printerd anywhere. So, it's a knockoff alright I think; however, a very very quality one at the least. I'd say it was worth what I paid, $48 delivered. |

If they work, it's less than 1/2 of what I payed for a .222 magazine for my L46 for a spare.

L46 magazines
They're not bad mags, it just burns me up when they say OEM or original. Any sophisticated Sako guy is going to deduct 100.00 in value on a L46 with an aftermarket mag. Last original 222 mag I sold on GunBroker brought 150.00 plus shipping. Last time I was at the Tulsa gunshoe a seller had several nice L46's in several configurations, probably 8 rifles, all with aftermarket mags. Guess who was the go to guy for originals at 150.00 ea?

That's a great idea Chuck. I'll buy these knock-off mags for $50 and sell my Sako rifles with those at a discount, then fleebay the originals for $150.
