Default Corbin S-Press (CSP-1)

Have been looking at one of these presses for bullet swageing, but modifying it for use with Niemi/Detch type dies.

Could anyone tell how good they are, are they any better than the modified Rockchuckers/Big Boss's? set-up for swageing.

Are they worth the money.

Thanks

Ken

If Niemi/Detch dies work, unmodified, in a reloading press like the RC or Big Boss, they will work in the CSP-1 if you use the optional reloading adapter. About 3 orders of magnitude better because of the toggle configuration which is made for bullet swaging. Whether or not the CSP-1 is worth the price is not so easy to answer. For instance a new RCE Walnut Hill press having the same ( or perhaps slightly better) capabilities is less expensive. If you can find either press in a used but not abused condition ( along with their necessary reloading adapter), for a price under $350 buy it ! By the way, either press can be used to reload and/or resize cartridges, too.
