Default Buying a reamer

I am in the startup proces of building a rifle in 17 Hornady Nornet.
For that i need a chamber reamer and GO-gauge.

I just tried Paciffic and had a chuckle, look at their shipping rates to Denmark:

It's evident that they really dont want to do buisness with me

I have shot a mail to Manson Reamers to see their rates.

Horrible rates, but Pacific just sends via UPS.......it's UPS who charges that much. That's coming from the very West Coast of US, 3,000 miles across country, then across 3,000 miles of ocean. You'll get another chuckle with Manson.

Nah, he just replied and quotes USPS insured for $45.

I still hope there is a member here who will sell me one though.

A much better deal. Realize that USPS is the US postal service, a completely different thing. That's probably how I'd be shipping something, but it's gotta be done through the post office. Which is slow and with long lines. Companies like Pacific that send out tons of stuff every day, have UPS pickup and don't screw with the post office.

well shame on pacific tool then. the post office even has greatly reduced rates if you go online and set up an account, you print the postage and shipping label at home and hand to postman or drop in mail box.. http://postcalc.usps.com/MailService...M&rgt=0&live=0

Must depend on where the stuff is sent? Everythying I've gotten from PT&G comes USPS Priority mail within a few days of notification.
And USPS Priority will run about $50.00 + or - to ship overseas and takes about a week or two at the most.

The last Pacific reamer I bought a couple of years ago was shipped internationally via US Post so they must have changed their services. UPS prices are a joke. Might be worth checking with Brownells. The Pacific reamers are very good but I have had no problems with the Manson ones either.

Are they putting outboard motors on those brown trucks now? How does UPS continue the shipment across the pond?
