Chickenthief,
Well I didn't plan to part with the reamer, never know when I might need to do another chamber I guess I could maybe talked into loanig it if you covered shipping but then I don't know if that would be economical?

Lets see.
Manson reamer and GO-gauge = $140
Shipping one way = $45

Pretty much anything less is the way to go since i dont plan to do multiple barrels.

CT:
Check the midwayusa reamer listings.
IF they have what you want and shipping is out of hand.
Contact me by pm. Talk to kenbro in the meantime.

I just bought a big bore PTC reamer from Midway for about $120.
Along with other stuff so no idea what it alone cost to mail.
Turned out the gunsmith had one this size already so I returned it for
a refund. No questions asked, or made that I heard.

I have a problem with Midway.

USA wont ship outside, end of story.
We had a Danish one but it went belly up and none of the other branches will ship to Denmark.

Have you thought about renting one? I rented one from 4-D Reamer rentals in Kalispell,MT. and it worked great. My smith said he has used them alot and they are good reamers keeps them very sharp and no chatter, might be another option for you.

I looked and the USPS will send it to you for $25.00 in a priority mail envelope which should be fine for it. Larry

I mailed a couple bolt bodies to friends in Australia - NP - $20.00(might have been $30.00) for air mail, $10.00 for ship. I send both by ship - both made it in just under 3 months.
4-5 weeks is the usual mail from Montana or most any parts in the US to me.
About anything gun related now being sent North into Canada now gets stopped by Home-Land Security - must keep Canada Safe - or is there another reason?
