4,6x30 or derivative
Any members in Europe that shoots the 4,6x30 or 17VHA?
I was at the range yesterday and the special forces had trained there. They left several hundred cases in the gravel. Magpie as i am i picked them up and they are now in the wet tumbler and will emerge shiny later. They can go to a good home in Europe as shipping anything gun related to the states peobably will get confiscated in customs, and the NSA peeping through my letterbox. |

Too bad the shipping to the US would be out of sight. I would take some for my 17 VHA.. Surely someone in Europe will want them. Bill K

Henrik,
I have a 28" blank in 4.6mm and 1K bullets and a reamer, but, my reamer is for a 17 fireball case opened up to .183. I would need to buy another reamer to utilise those cases. Drat. Your parcel shipped Friday, so should be with you soon. Regards,Ken.

O.K., just to drag this thread out a bit. These are Berdan primed? How would one deprime such a small case, hydraulically?

But as you can see they have the dreaded H&K stake around the primer. They raise the center of the bolt face and that ensures that no primer what so ever will ever back out due to pressure and they are a bi7ch to deprime and reload (primer pocket swaging every time).
