Default Thanks for posting velocities Eric.....

It’s nice to see two offerings as well. Not far off a 17 HMR speed wise with the JHP and its 30 grain bullet.Cant wait to get some.

Awesome that you got some Eric. I understand the MSRP thing, but how much should we expect to pay from a retailer...can you ask about tentative numbers for that?

Midway just sold out at $27.00 a box. There was also a couple of other retailers that had it for sale in the $23-$27 range. Those too sold out quickly.

I think once the new release excitement dips, they will be in the $23-$25 range. If some of the bigger ammo shops get a hold of some (LAX Ammo, etc), it will probably dip below $20.

Here's an update with some new information, including chronograph results and average group sizes:

http://www.varminter.com/new-aguila-...l-ammo-review/

Ammo is starting to trickle out, so you can use AmmoSeek.com and track some down (I have no relationship with them). Some shops are showing $22.50 and $23.00. Also, some of the JHP Varmint rounds are showing up as well.

I’m not in the market right now as I am well stocked on both variations of the last run of ammo.

That said I’d like to see a semi jacketed bullet constructed just like the 22 TCM bullet. They are extremely inexpensive and I have had outstanding results with it in my 22 Jet. Accuracy wise it isn’t a one-hole’r but I sn’t bad either and does well with being a good penitrating and good explosiveness.

No matter how you view it, nice to see both someone making ammo for it and someone willing to be about twice what I did for mine (IIRC)

I still have had very good luck with my homemade 30 grain tire weight bullets in my CF 591...

CCI is the experts in electro-plate bullets I'd like to see them jump in with a 38gr HP😁 or a 30gr TNT😮

I think you said that back in 2008, then you didn't speak to me for a few years!
