No, they are both cooper M38, the 17 is a custom classic, and the 22 is a JVT with upgraded French walnut stock.

I have a Leupold VX 3 4.5-14x40 AO. That I'm going to put on it, I'm waiting on the rings. I'm also going to take the 4-12 that is on the 17 sq and I'm putting it on my Sako Vixen 17 and I will get another VX 3 4.5-14x40 AO on the 17 SQ. I want hem to have the same scope.

Sweet rifles, always wanted a .22 Squirrel.
Dang! After posting the above I went to Coopers web site to see how much they were going to bend me over for a new 22 Squirrel and neither the 22 or the 17 appear to be offered any more.

They quit making them, there is one on gun broker in Montana varminter. That is the only one I know of that is for sale.
