Cooper 38 in 17 Squirrel
Today is a great day! after having the 17 Squirrel with the keyhole issue I have purchased a Cooper 38 in 17 Squirrel. Haven't shot it yet but got the ammo ready. As luck would have it I already bought a 527 chambered in 17 Squirrel not knowing I would be getting this Cooper. So I don't need two so I am thinking of selling the CZ. Anxious to shoot both of them when the weather cooperates. Just wanted to keep the old post going.

Congratulations on the Cooper. One day I too hope to own one. The only thing that stands between me and a Cooper is Money LOL.
I have made some pretty good offers on for sale Coopers. No one is interested in a slightly used 6oish woman that cooks and is good with a net. Oh well some day

Shoot both before you sell one. The CZ may surprise you.

Cooper
Wonder why Cooper doesn't make those squirrel rifles anymore? They have trouble with them or something? Seems like a good cartridge !

17 sq,
I have a Cooper 17sq. Montana Varminter on the old 38 action . I love it . I had a 17 mch2 falling block converted to 17 sq. and it is one of my favert rifles . That is a butte you got . Years past I drove 300 + mi. to get one like it and it was sold 15 min. be for I got there . The CZ may or may not shoot as good but the Cooper is something special .
