Default Savage 6mm Remington barrel package

For sale:

Savage small shank, stainless (matte finish) 6mm Remington barrel. 23" long with mag sporter contour. 12 twist w/ custom short throat chamber for lighter bullets. If I recall it's a Douglas blank but I have no way to confirm. Devin at Sin-Arms did the barrel for me several years ago. Round count is less than 200. All I did was a little load development, sight in and I've killed a couple coyotes with it.

Also included:

255 new Winchester brass
92 fired Winchester brass
589 Barnes 58g VLC bullets (the old blue ones)
115 Hornady 58g V-max bullets
Redding standard FL 2 die set
Redding Type S match FL die set (Type S FL bushing die, comp. seater)
Go and no-go gauges

Can send pics to your email if interested.

Asking $400 shipped for everything

will also be posted on Accurate shooter forum

Default Interested

I'm interested. I have a savage small shank long action (currently. 270 win) that I'm looking to rebarrel. Really wanted a fast twist. 243, but this is intriguing me. Your barrel will fit on my 110 correct?

Yes, as long as your 270 is a small shank (should be) it will fit. I used it on a short action but long action should work too. Please keep in mind that this is a slower twist barrel and will not handle the heavier bullets.

Default Understood

Yes understood. I'm completely interested however I'm about 1/2 way on funds. So if you get a chance to sell by all means do so.

The barnes bullets, are those lubalox? Do you have to do anything to the barrel to shoot them or do they shoot like a copper jacketed bullet.

Andy

The bullets are coated with the blue stuff that Barnes came up with. Nothing special is required to shoot them
