Calhoon makes great bullets and the terminal performance is truly outstanding. I have used them on gophers, crows etc and they perform great. They also make a 22 Hornet into a real splatter fest round. He is also a tremendously interesting dude to talk to. He knows a huge amount about small calibre and makes some very interesting 527 conversions. If you ever get a chance to sit and have coffee with him, do it for sure. He regaled us for three or four hours the last time we dropped in.

I can't make up my mind between the 42 & 46gr for the fireball, thinking 42

I like the Cahoon 42.....
It has turned my 22K Hornet into a little .222

I've used the 42 grainers in my Cooper .223. Very accurate and devastating on PD's.

Well I’m going to have to buy some of them tomorrow and give them a go in my .221 FB fast twist!

Are the 42s shaped liked his 30s ? more a semi round nose than a spire point?
