The way I see it George, how much are them VMAX bullets worth? Even if you could find rejects, it’s going to be five dollars for a box of 50. If they sold them new you’re probably talking around $7.50 for a box of 50 just for the bullets.

Funny thing is my 17 SM is very similar in size as the HM2 but sometimes the RFs are nice to shoot like crazy and not having to be concerned about losing my brass (down a PD hole or at nights calling coons)

Don’t get me wrong, I like a good deal but sometimes I can justiy a fair or even bad deal lol

Yep, you're right.
But, I still have a couple thousand bullets or more.
And more than a 30cal can full of loaded VR's yet.

I won't live long enough to shoot them up. Especially
at the rate I've been burning ammo the past six years.
Likely less than 100 of everything, even pistol ammo.

OF course I'm about the cheapest sob on the board too.

I hear ya, I have some vintage 1970s powder (and bullets) that I really need to be burning up.

I’m about as cheap as they come sometimes but when I justify otherwise, whatch out
