I just picked up the stock from having it dipped in Muddy Girl camo. Exactly what she wanted. I think it turned out great. If anybody is looking to have a stock dipped, I highly recommend Liquid Illusions in Chambersburg PA. Cost me $125+tax.

Charlie did you prime it or did he do it all? I talked to him a couple years ago and he showed me around his shop . Seem liked a good guy. Lillie will love it.

Ray, he reminded me of you! Nice guy, great work! He sanded and put an adhesion promotor on, then painted with epoxy primer, then paint. Then dipped and applied 3 coats of flat clear. This coating will outlive the steel.

Charlie he claimed the flat clear stood up to wear better than the gloss. I didn't like the gloss anyway. I have one I want dipped when I finish it, I want to see what his walnut burl looks like.

the 7 TCU is a really fun round. H4895 and 139 grain bullets are magical

Lillie likes her rifle. Said she can't wait to shoot it. Maybe I'll load a few and take her out back tomorrow?
