Default CZ 527 question.......

I bought a 527 in 22h a couple months ago, its an older model with a 4 digit serial number. I took it out of its stock, and low and behold just forward of the magwell on the bottom of the action its marked 222. Did cz used to mark caliber on the action? Is it possible that i bought a rifle someone frankenstined? The bolt is certainly a 22 h, but who knows, right?

CZ actions were/are? marked either 222 or 223 depending on the caliber.
222 = 22H, 221FB, 222R.
223 = 223, 17Rem, 204R.
Different bottom metal and magazine as far as I know, but I think I remember Adam posting about another difference at one time too.
I'm sure he'll be along in a minute or two.
