Default AA2200 powder for 20 Practical?

A2200 works well with the 20VT, esp with the 39/40 gn bullets. Does anyone use AA2200 for the 20 Practical? Is so what are your experiences with velocities/pressures compared to other powders?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Phil

If it works for the .223 Remington, it should work with the practical. I have two in that caliber, an AR and a bolt gun. I use VV 133 but 335 works too. More loads here:

Don't have a 20 Practical, but AA2200 is great for 40gr VMAX in 223 Remington.

At one time I had almost 40 pounds of 2200 and I would try to get it to shoot in just about anything. For the 20p I ended up settling on 2015 ..24 1/2 grains behind a 40 grain vmax 3730fps or so. I shoot 2200 in 223 and 20 vartarg also
