Personally I have never washed any cores but none of my rifles are "benchrest" and the best that I have ever been able to pull is .300, 1/2MOA is more of the standard.

I will wash the next batch and see if there is any difference.

Default De-greasing Cores

De-greasing cores the way I descibed takes a small amount of time and is done before core seating. Give it a try and report back.
