Default Gift Registry

So 30 years ago I remarried three years after my first wife died. My co-workers kept badgering me about "where I was registered." I kept telling them we didn't need anything, just come to the party, but they kept at it. I finally told them I was registered at Wolf's Sporting Goods for a Leupold 2-7X scope. My boss came to the party and pulled me out of the line and slipped me a tacky, hand-made card along with the collected cash of my co-worker's donations, and he whispered, "Don't show your wife. This is for your scope." I promptly showed my wife. She laughed. I bought the scope and it still resides on my Grandpa's Model 70 - and still puts 3 shots in 3/4" at 200 yards - after I bedded and refinished the rifle a few years ago.
