Default 25grn HP .172

Hi sorry for all the questions but i have just picked up quite a lot of the 25grn Hornady HP apparently these are the old type that expand very well ?, Didnt know there was any different .

What i am wondering is can these be loaded the same as the 25grn Vmax as in powder ? Does anyone have any data for the 25grn HP in the 17HH ?

Many thanks

Do not know why not, but would always drop just a tad on the start load to be safe. Check out Hornady's Data load site, for loads for 17 HH. Bill K

I bought 100 rounds of loaded ammo, and they do not shoot as good as the 20 grain Vmax. The loaded ammo was still cheaper than buying brass. I am going to try A1680 and A2200 with 25 grain Vmax . Western powder has loads for both in their online load data. Hodgdon has their data online also. Hornady lists the same data for both.
