Default Can't beat the heat....

I thought it would be cooler in western Montana, but I've been here for 2 days and it's hotter here than it was in Houston when I left. Summer has definitely reached the high country....

Yep, it's HOT! After the wet Spring, we have enough fuel for a very memorable fire season this year.

You have anything to do with the earthquake in Montana, BCB?

Enjoy your time there. Western Montana and the Idaho Panhandle is incredibly scenic. If you see any wolves, feel free to take them back to Texas when you head that way!

Haven't heard what the temps have been up there.
We've had a few 102, lots of 99's and such here.
Typical temps this time of year. Got a two week later
start this year though. At least it's dry here and not
muggy like Texas coast

Where I'm at right now, George, it can become very sticky in the afternoon when the sun comes back out after an afternoon shower. This year its drier but hot. Unfortunately lots of dried vegetation to burn late in the summer from lightening strikes.

And just an observation from experience: Pueblo, Co is not western Montana........... west and south of Pueblo a ways there are lots of similarities in terrain.... Pueblo itself not so much....its more like north Texas.

Welcome to Saubier.com flyswatter .
I have a Granddaughter that lives in Scottsdale (Phoenix), she calls me when it gets to 119 or so and I call her when it's -30, good clean fun . We have been unusually warm this summer or maybe it just seems like it cause I'm getting older and hate the heat so much.

No wolf sightings yet and just a couple of fox of the two legged variety...... But being an old guy I haven't really been looking too hard......

No, not Texas. How about dropping a few off at the homes of PETA members and/or Wash DC, they all seem to want the wolves back into our outdoors. Bill K
