Default .20 VarTarg Brass

Hey everyone, I was directed to this forum and was told there were some members here who made .20 VarTarg brass that's ready to load and requires no extra work. If anyone has some of this brass for sale I would like to buy some, thank you very much!

Welcome to the forum. Suggest you contact forum member ramos. He at times has 20VT brass available that he forms from Lake City 223 brass. Do you know the neck diameter of your 20VT chamber? 20VT brass is easy to form from 221 Fireball brass if you have a 20VT fl sizer.

My chamber will have a .232 neck. I would prefer not to neck turn and hassle with anything extra.

Default 20 VarTarg brass

Ramos, has formed brass, pretty regularly, locate him and send a PM or wait and he will probably answer you
Or purchase 222FB brass and run it though your fl sizer die and you will be set to go. Bill K

That will need neck turned. It will also be once fired before being formed.

If I use Norma or Nosler .221 brass, will it require neck turning after sizing it down? I always thought with a .232 chamber the Norma and Nosler was too thick after sizing to .20? Thanks

Jud96, I shoot Nosler 221 brass in my 221FB. Will form a 20VT from the Nosler 221 brass, seat a flat base bullet, and let you know the loaded neck diameter tomorrow morning. I am curious myself as I have a .232nk 20VT barrel for a switch barrel and I have not shot the 20VT barrel yet. Shooting the 221FB barrel.
