Default Load Data 22/243

I’m shooting the 77gr MatchKing. Just wondering what others are using(powder) for their heavy bullet loads. Thanks!

I have a 224 Terminator, my gunsmiths version of a 22-243 Improved, and I'm using RL26 with Hornady 80gr ELD-M. My gun wears a 28in 8tw Krieger barrel and I'm launching those 80's at 3650 which is pretty darn fast.

Default 22-243

When I had mine I was shooting RL22 and a 75gr Amax. Rifle had a Brux 28" 1-8tw. I'm actually looking to build another and looking for a smith with a reamer for a straight no turn 22-243.

Chuck, maybe talk to Defensive Edge Rifles about building you a 224 Terminator as I mentioned it's their version of a 22-243 Improved.

Not only do they build a he11 of a rifle but they have the dies as well as already formed Lapua brass you can buy from them and they don't soak you on price for either. Also, they'll have load data to get you started as well.

They've built me numerous rifles over the years and every one of them has shot very well.

Default Mike Bryant

Thanks for the heads up on Mike Bryant, he's built several rifles for me. Got an Xcaliber 1-8" and action headed to him right now for a 22-243.
