This makes me sad to hear...on many occasions, he was very kind to me including in private messaging etc. Never met in person but felt he was a first class act, humble, kind and generous. God speed my friend!

Tom will be missed. May he Rest In Peace. It seems as though he knew his time was up. He messaged me on 10-10-20 in response to my wanted ad. In that message he wrote this
"just wondering if you'd have any interest in it. It's time, age is creeping up on me and I have a hard time finding the time to shoot." |

So sorry to see Tom's passing. I'd spoke with him about a rifle this winter and he stopped responding so I assumed he sold it. May he rest in peace . Rick

I helped Tom out by sending him bullets (Via George, who else?) from UK in April ‘17 and he wrote me a really lovely thank you letter. Said he couldn’t understand why I should be so kind to someone I didn’t know. He said he’d love to reciprocate if at all possible.
A very fine man indeed. R.I.P. Tom.

Dungheap was a good man. Funny story he told me was that he came up with the name Dungheap due to his FFL requiring a unique password for running a NICs background check. He said the system reminded him of a big ole heap of dung, thus an internet handle was born. He was a good guy. Sad to see he's gone too.
