One has to look at what replacement cost is.
Brass $1 a piece if you can find it Powder, .20-.25 Bullet, .20-.25 Primer, .10 The box and cartridge holder inside has to be take into account as well. A sharp pencil makes short work of what we want to call savings. Reloading doesn’t make it any cheaper, it just lets me shoot more. No sense in saying all the components “use to cost”, I can remember when a roll(10 cans)of Copenhagen, case of beer, ice, fill the truck up with gas and 2 dozen worms I got a fair bit of change from a $20 |

Those days are gone and will be for a long time, so we must just adjust, roll with the punches and hold on to our sport and firearms as best we can. Seems like everywhere you turn we are being blamed for the problems, crimes that criminals do and get away with, we and our tools are paying the price, with the cost, lack of supplies. Stock and buy when you can and keep doing the best we can, and just recall what we had and so often took for granted. |
