20 Nosler
I just ordered a reamer and go gage from PTG this morning. Since I have several thousand 55gr Bergers I'm going use a 9 twist Hart that I've had setting in the closet for over a year now. I have very good accuracy in a 20 practical using this twist. I'm getting 3275 out of the practical and hope to get 3450 or 3500 out of the Nosler. Any thoughts ?

Hadn't heard of a 20 Nosler. What is the parent case?

22 Nosler. You just neck it down like you do for a 20 Practical.

.. always thought the 20 cal version was a better idea than the 22, and that a 6mm version would be better still.
what are you thinking for dies? |

Ah ok. Don't know what the 22 Nosler is based on either. Just neck it down? No moving the shoulder or trimming down?

It is my understanding that they are based on the Ruger 375 case.

Nosler used the 404 Jeffery case for it's series of rounds. Trimming down the base/rim for the 20 Nosler. Bill K
