Default 35gr Berger & 204R

Has anyone tried the 35gr Bergers in a 204R or similar with a 1 12 twist. Just wondering how they worked. This all based on IF you could actually buy them.

I just shot some in my 20BR and they look good. 29.5gr of 8208 made a half inch group. Didn't have any loads above 30gr, but I will go up to 32 next trip. They were on the shelf at my local sporting goods store. Larry

My 'go-to' bullet for badger, coyote and anything feline! In my 1:12 Cooper the accuracy has been just as good as the 32gr V-Max or the 39gr SBK's.

My 20BR is a 1 in 12, Berger says the 35's need a 1 in 14.

Default 35 Bergers

Shot great in my TAC 20 But the varmint extremes perform just as well for lots less. Also the varmint extreme availability is there.

I've been using the 35's in my sako 204 with good results on our fox population here in Aus.
Started of using the 32 SBK s and then tried the 39 SBKs but have found the Bergers to give better results, usually around half moa at 200y.
I have found I have much better DRT.
On a side note - not to high jack this thread,
I am also going to trial these in my 20 vt shortly. Just waiting for the days to get a bit warmer.

Shot quite a few Coyotes with the 35's in a 204R. It's a hammer.

I used them quite a few years ago with great results on coyotes.

Just got a 204 back in the stable and will be using them again.
