Looks like the action has been sold.
However the finish on that particular action sure looks rough in those pictures.
Are new actions usually that dull looking when you purchase them?

Larry, it's a fixed price auction...if you click on the link, then click on "view seller's other listings" it shows he has like 51 of these for sale. Just trying to help. He did jack the price up to $325 though.

The finish looks like the phosphate finishes used on the LTR and 700P series of rifles.

The AAC on the box label makes me think these were originally intended for 300 Blackout rifles = tacticool = phosphate

I saw that also and the finish looks like the mod 7 AAC Blackout so would these have the ejector in the correct position for a Fireball

If I'm not mistaken the 300 AAC (300 Blackout) is made from 221 fireball brass. So it should work.

Thanks for the info. Obviously I don’t peruse the auction sites much. Probably because I can never make much since of them, case in point I never new you could have an auction with a fixed price… but I’m learning.

Phosphate you say, hmm…? I’d be tempted to buy one if cost of refinishing it wouldn't add too much to the cost of a build.

And a fireball extractor would be nice for me too or if not I've always been intrigued by BCB & Ackman’s posts about the 223AI. One day I will have one of those.
