Need input where i can find wood for a Ballard rifle. Doesn't have to AAA walnut or anything like that. Any duplicators making such animal ? This is for a friend.

You might use an internet search engine for "ballard rifle stock"; some semi inletted outfits come up.

I always thought that Treebone did a nice job with his semi inletted stocks for No.1's.

I could fix you up with a pretty nice piece of Turkish walnut.

Two pieces that is. I have a lot of stuff 3" width if you need width.
