The present commie/socialist Democratic party led by Biden/Harris are way better gun sales people than Obama was.
I bet April and May will also have large numbers buying firearms and another record for back ground checks. We should Thank them for aiding us, so well.

And check out where the most guns are being bought. No. 1 state for sales is Illinois.

The Federal Bureau of Investigations reported close to 4.7 million background checks for new gun purchases in March, the largest on record since the FBI began tracking them 20 years ago, revealing a record number of firearms sales in the US.

The figure is a 77% increase compared to March 2019. The agency conducted over a million more background checks in March 2021 compared to March 2020, which also saw a record number of gun sales.

Meanwhile the Demonrats continually call for more background checks as if they aren't being done now????crazy

Recently, we finished up our new member orientation (400-ish new people) to our private shooting club. I helped out at a few of these orientations, and had a chance to meet some of the new shooters. Only 5% have ever been a member of a private shooting range. There were inexperienced shooters who didn't know the basic fundamentals of gun safety.

There are going to be some negligent/accidental discharges... BOD better finally get some spine and be prepared to deal with offenders and get comfortable terminating memberships over safety issues. Maybe they will finally realize that we need to have all new members qualify for use with their firearms and demonstrate safety protocols.

Everyone has the Right to Bare Arms... However, this doesn't mean that they don't need to learn how to properly use them, especially now with Constitutional Care coming to Texas.

Such great freedom also means great responsibility.

Yes people need to have some proper and safe handling of firearms training, in the past most of us had our Father/Mother's doing it, when they bought us our first real firearm. That is not often the case any longer, so new one's show up with weapons that they bought and no one has really given them any instructions.
As for the upcoming Texas Carry laws/regulations, there are still a lot of requirements too do so. It is not a open policy for every and anyone to just buy and carry. Be sure and read the full requirements for the Constitutional Carry laws being passed.

"Everyone has the Right to Bare Arms..." Sun block is optional.........

All of the current 20 constitutional carry states have laws that are different in some ways but similar in many respects. Texas will be #21, and the same thing can be said about it's constitutional carry law when it becomes law on Sept. 1.

Anyone who thinks that gun ownership of any kind in any of the 50 states doesn't come with strings attached that need too be recognized and adhered to is someone looking for personal problems whether they recognize it or not.

Concealed carry or whatever it might be called in specific state comes with new rules and laws for new CC holders. One half day of training about the applicable CC laws lasts maybe 20 minutes after some people pass the written CC exam.

Constitutional carry brings with it a new set of additional legal requirements. Most people will recognize that and they will be fine. The bafoons who might get caught doing something wrong under constitutional carry probably don't have a clue or give a damn whether they are legal or not under any applicable gun laws that apply to them. Constitutional carry won't change that.

That said, one cottage industry that is already emerging in Texas is training to teach constitutional carry to new and existing gun owners. It's not required under the law, but it is capitalism already raising its head. Some people who might need the training will take advantage and take a class. Others won't.

Having constitutional carry in Texas with its new set of regulations sure beats living somewhere that has a 10 day waiting period on new gun purchases by it's citizens, or somewhere where the simple act of buying ammunition for the gun, once they get it, practically requires having a lawyer in your hip pocket just to buy it.

Just reviewed the 2nd Amendment, didn't see anything about "learning" to handle or train. Or about hunting. Seems everyone is confused about what the 2nd Amendment is intended for.

Nothing written in for training, you are correct, but I bet, like any militia the men and women back did have group training sessions. Nothing wrong with some basic safety training and practice with firearms.
