A No.1 would be nice in the WSM. Fairly straight forward all in all, just need the barrel blank.

Gary- that card splitting clip with the Savage Laminate showed the WSM will actually shoot.

That's the first video or showing that the ctg. is better than mediocre.

I have been discouraged until now, from even looking at one due to the inaccuracy I have seen shown in other videos.

My current Marlin HMR,is less accurate than my first and better than the Savage I tried, as it will only hold 3/4" at 100 meters. The Savage would not shoot better than 1". My Martini shot 3/8" to 1/2" and the first Marlin was 1/2" to 5/8".

I see the B-mag ammo is currently running $26.95 here at the gun show this weekend, but no .17WSM rifles are to be seen.

I did manage to pick up a nice model 1871 Mauser Sporter, with 30" bl. lined and chambered to 8.15x46R. Beautiful shape. That one is going to be fun.

Default 17 Bmag accuracy

Is that card splitting accuracy any better than the many I have seen split/cut with the lowly 22lr or even a arrow ? Wonder what the distance he shot that at ? Bill K

Back to splitting the card! Wow!
Are we talking about the complete AR rifle or just the upper. You mention two, how about the third one?

They are all uppers.

The first I built into an F17-L clone, but with the parts I wanted:

Here is my F17-SPR (Special Purpose Rifle). Total weight is 8.9lbs with the scope. It is the 17WSM I shoot the more than any of the rifles I have. The AR-Optics scope I put on it died two weeks ago, but the rifle is still pumping out the rounds!

The last one is an upper with a 1:8" twist barrel (no picture). That one shoots very well, but I've set it aside for an interesting future project.

Bill- we split cards with our flint locks - no big deal. I was referring to the groups shot with that Savage laminate varmint rifle. 1/2" is fine and what I would expect. That truly makes it a 300yard rat rifle.

Eric, Good looking rifles! Are they 100% Franklin Armory uppers or did you need to make some mods to get them to function 100%? I'm very interested in one of these but not if they're unreliable.
Oh yeah, how about some pics of that Willys?
