Question 221 Fireball Information

Hey Guys,

I've got a Remington 700 221 Fireball with a sporter weight barrel and a laminated stock New in the Box. Some told me that this was a special run with only 250 made. Can anyone confirm this and possibly the year of manufacture?

Also if anyone knows of this rifle, do you know what the value of it is now as NIB? BTW, the laminated stock is brown. Thanks for any help, I appreciate it.

Give Remington a call and they can ( I believe) tell you by running the serial number in their files. Bill K

Don’t know how many they made but it was a special run. I bought one and burned out the barrel after 15yrs. NIB I’d say 7-900$ depending on how bad someone was after it.

What is the name/description/product number on the box end label?

Any pictures you can post.

My Rem 700 Fireball was a Light Varmint Stainless Fluted. I replaced the tupperware stock with a Boyd's Thumbhole Laminate.
