It is what the 270wsm SHOULD have been. It is a very slightly shorter version of a 270wsm but come with faster twisted barrel (8tw) or so and throated for long bullets. It has enabled the use of the high bc bulllets that that standard .277" barrels with (10tw) never could stabilize like the Berger 170's or Matrix 165's. Great concept but a little late
