Have you done anymore shooting with the 17FB? Did you end up going with a zero freebore? I'm having a reamer made, I sent in a dummy round, im not sure what the freebore is gonna be.

Ya i have shot quite a bit. Kevin weaver did the work and he had a reamer. Its not 0 freebore.
I really ain't impressed with it.
It shoots 1in at 100. That's pretty much what it shot with factory barrel.

This is interesting. Every custom .17 FB that I've heard about is 1/2 MOA or better, certainly better than 1 MOA. Did you have the action and bolt trued? What about the bedding?

That looks like my shooting. I can't "keep it together" when shooting off of the bench and nearly always throw one out because of my lack of skill. Like with me, it could be you and not the rifle.

Products that I am looking for but can't seem to find no matter how hard I look:
Leopold Scopes, Forester reloading equipment and Victorianox knives.

I video recorded all of my Highpower Rifle matches. Pretty soon I am going to watch them all in reverse order so that I can watch those F Class guys GO HOME and leave us alone so that we can shoot Highpower Rifle.

Are you using wind flags when shooting groups?

I have had a number of factory 17FBs. Even with factory barrels they would do far better than MOA. I did Devcon bed every one of them and that made a significant difference in the factory stock as well as the two I put into Boyd's thumbhole stocks. Have you bedded yours. Also, if you have a light contour barrel you might want to try a credit card pressure point to see if that helps. My Weatherby 257 Ultra light with the factory 26" fluted lightweight barrel will shoot .25 for 3 shoots with the pressure point and bedded action, but shoots over 1.5 for the same 3 shots without the pressure point.
