Default Redding tool shortages

Over the past 12 months I’ve been looking for a particular die set from Redding.
What I’ve noticed is that not only is nothing being exported to AU but it seems nothings going to US retailers big or small either....
A quick look on US sites shows much of Redding’s gear out of stock and un obtainable.
I emailed Redding 8 weeks ago to get any information from the horses mouth, I got an automated email saying they were on a fortnight’s leave and would reply once they were back, that was over 6 weeks ago.
Anyone have any insight into where things are at with Redding.

Thanks.

I ordered a 223 AI body die from them in Canada about 6 months ago. It is not fully mainstream, but lets face it, probably the most common wildcat. Nothing yet.........

Back in February I needed a 223AI Neck Bushing Die. I bought it off MidwayUSA. They were out of stock so I was able to put on either Backorder or Send Notice and had it a little over a month later. I got lucky.

Last November I ordered a Redding 223 full length bushing die and still not even on the horizon.

Ordered a 257 Bee and 338-378 Bee neck die from Redding a year ago. Zip, Nada, Butkess and my dealer says there is no news on when. May actually just buy RCBS and give up on Redding. Really like their products but they sure seem to have lost their focus the past couple of years.

If they are made in a communist state, it's possible that they are still running very short staffed. Some of the blue states really don't want people depending on them selves.

Skilled machine tradespeople are in short supply. A generation was skipped when it came to apprenticeships. The U.S. is now and will continue to pay the price for that shortsightedness.
