Default When is a 300BO considered Small Caliber?!

My brother has arrived from Alaska and I am planning to take him varmint shooting just north of Houston. I took a peak at the trail camera to see what's been going on...here are some random pictures.

Default 30 BO as small caliber

When on the 50 BMG site, the 30 BO is considered "small caliber".
