An arbor press has been as essential to my handloading over the past 50 years as has been the powder scale.

Harrell Press
This one is a little spendy but…
http://harrellsprec.com/index.php/products/combo-press It handles both threaded dies and Wilson dies. Being portable, it is especially nice to take to the range where you can vary bullets, powder charge, seating depths etc. With a set of bushing dies and a variety of bushings, a portable powder measure and a Wilson seating die, there is little you can’t accomplish with this setup. Sure beats loading a batch, taking to the range to test, then back home to load some slightly different rounds, then back to the range. Very nice when you are chasing an accuracy load.

I put a bid on a K&M Arbor Press. If it doesn't pan out then possibly will also give the 21st Century base line model a hard look.

I started out using a modified bottle capper, then I was gifted a Bald Eagle Arbor press, not the cheapest but works well.

Jeff - Thank you for the offer.
I got desperate when I could only find 4 vartarg dies, all Wilson Inline Seaters, at all of the internet vendors combine. After hours of internet searches, I bit he bullet. I also won the Ebay auction for a used K&M with Low Fore Pack for $120. |

My setup for loading for the VT at the range - even with the fancy press, I find the arbor press easier to use for bullet seating. I size with the Redding "S" and seat with the Wilson. The only problem I've had has been "ring around the bullet" where the Wilson drift imprints on thin jackets when I use too tight a bushing and don't dust the inside of necks with graphite. Harold |

I don't know if this will work with the Wilson seaters but I polish the inside of the seating stem with 0000 steel wool on my Redding seating dies and that eliminates the little ring on the bullet. It may be worth a try.
