You said you do have the albums permissions on other sites. You can use that site to host your pics here. Just copy the link on that site and post here like you would Photobucket. I did from here to GGVG just fine.

What does it take to get the User CP Networking options/forum formatting you have here? I'm not into cross breeding cattle.

I have no idea. I'll have to ask Ken to look into it tonight to see what's different between what my profile has and yours. It may have something to do with a join date, what was available when you registered (before me) might not have been available as it was when I joined. I'll find out.

Default Test

Manage attachments-No "browse" available to find photo on computer.

User CP-name album-browse-upload-copy URL-post using "insert image" in reply header.

Thanks, Charlie. Been here since 1999, IIRC.

You have to have the Photo and Album option in Networking on the User CP to do that. Apparently not everyone has that option for some reason. Charlie is going to check on it. See discussion above.......

I just tried a wild hair, Charlie......

I am a Firefox user. I close it and signed on here with ugh.... Windows Explorer..... and I get your menu structure. Quien sabe?

The one other forum I checked earlier with Firefox gave me your menu structure, so I have no idea why it's not the same here.

I truly hope there is a solution for this here as I hate using that damned inbred/incestuous Bill Gates internet explorer. It's like having a pack of dogs lurking out of sight in the shadows following you everywhere you go without you being able to see a single dog.

FWIW - I know I don't post much, but I'm usually keeping an eye on things, and PM's or emails get me on my phone when I'm not online. I'm an IT nerd so unfortunately my phone and email are like another appendage.

@Bayou City Boy - can you try it again? You might have to logout and back on for the changes to kick in but I think I got it fixed for you.

Also, Charlie's account is "special" (moderator) so testing with his isn't the same as normal user accounts. And I also found that the "Site Supporters" get some special rights too, but some accounts don't appear to be set up consistently.

There might be some other wonky permissions things, but I don't have time today to audit them all... maybe next week I'll do a little more digging. If you see anything else messed up let me know and I'll try to fix it up.

Thanks,

-Ken

FYI - Might be a coincidence because I was in the process of fixing your account when you sent this?
