He is missed! Sure miss talking to him as well, and reading his great articles in SCN--some of the best ever in that gun rag, I thought. Actually wrote about him myself in a couple Varmint Hunter articles. One of those kinda' guys that could make friends just over the phone. See u soon my friend.

I had seen this post before, but being new to the small stuff, I hadn't known who he was. I got a Oct 2004 issue of VHA and saw an article by Blaine about "hunting and skinning for profit" That I'll have to read.
Sorry for all your loss of a good friend Allen |

Sadly, it's been 11 years since Blaine's passing. Such a wealth of knowledge who was never a stranger to answer questions or help anyone in need. When I needed a sizing plate, Blaine sent me his. When I needed a reamer to build my 17 Little Nasty, Blaine without blinking sent me his 17 Dog Terminator reamer. My love for small caliber wildcats is because of Blaine Eddy.
I miss my friend Heavy Eagle Prayers for you Dave Affleck since you probably knew Blaine better than anyone else.

e,sadly I have come to think that God takes the best and nicest of us way to soon.
Is that not the truth. And the likes of so many in politics keep going, while decent folks meet their maker. |
