I had helped him order this. His health took a bad turn and he needed some funds and was selling off some stuff. Being this was the newest, it went first, I gave him his $637 back. I bought this with absolute ZERO interest in the cartridge. He urged me to run the last 30 rounds through it for break in as he was following MGM's barrel break in procedure. I did and the groups just got better and better. It now has a total of 140 rounds of factory Hornady superformance through it. Average for me @ 100 is 3/8" for 5 rounds. This is the barrel I had posted a link too. In order to have viewed it you had to join the site. I knew there had been some changes over there but did not realize that was one of them.
I knew going in on this deal to help the old gentleman I would take a hit,must part of the game. I won't go much lower as it doesn't eat anything and is easy to stow in the back of the safe. I measured groups outside to outside rather than center to center. I am no BR shooter and find shooting for groups to be pretty tough at times. Wind at my range plays havoc a lot of days. Jeff
