Default Winchester Model 71 Deluxe, 348 WIN

Winchester Model 71 Deluxe, manufactured in 1952, chambered in 348 Winchester, 24" barrel and short tang. Unmolested stock, original steel butt plate, inlet sling swivel, checkered grip and forearm, excellent and shiny bore. Gun shows very little use for its age and bluing is in good condition except for left side of receiver.

Cons:
- left side receiver bluing damage/loss
- stock dings and dents
- usual bluing wear from honest use
- Couple pin spots of prior corrosion
- Corrosion/pitting of butt plate

Price: was $2,095.00, now $1,875.00 plus actual shipping (will be shipped in hardcase)

Trades considered for Weatherby Mark V's, full or partial trade.

Listed for sale elsewhere.

I would agree that it is one of, if not the best lever gun Winchester produced. Just recently added another 71 to the safe so need to sell this one to help pay for it.

I've got 9 boxes of Winchester 200grain PowerPoint factory ammo if someone needs it to go with the rifle..... Or you need it for another one
$56.00 +shipping/box. Obviously shipping will be adjusted if you take multiples.

Would have to agree. I really like my M71 with a 24" barrel, but if were brush hunting for elk, I'd more likely grab my M88 in 358. For me, it just points a little better and the pointed bullets retain their energy better if a longer shot presents itself.
